JJ DeCeglie
JJ DeCeglie's is a novelist, screenwriter and director, born and bred in Fremantle, West Australia.
His first literary work was an independent published novella The Sea Is Not Yet Full. This was followed up by independent limited run of the short story collection In the Same Streets You'll Wander Endlessly In 2010, Fontaine Press published Damned Good, a philosophical poker novel. A novella Ennui and Despair, was published by Olympia Press.
In 2013, Jugular, DeCeglie's first feature film premièred at the Melbourne Underground Film Festival, where it won Best Film, Best Director and Best Actor. The film was shot with a one-man crew in Melbourne and had a budget of around $6000. His second feature film, the comedy Can't Win. Do Try premièred at CineFestOz in 2016.
